One-time setup: $2,000

Pay annually: two months free

Prepay a year and pay for ten months. Plans are otherwise month to month, and you can move between plans as your team changes.

Paying online takes you to Stripe, then to a short setup form: who your administrator is, and optionally your workers and first portals. Prefer an invoice or a purchase order? Email hello@portalhound.com.

Questions people ask

Where does my gateway run?

On Starter, Team and Business, in a dedicated environment we run for you on AWS in the United States: your own gateway server, your own sign-in pool and your own access records, not shared with any other customer. We sign a Business Associate Agreement with you. Enterprise customers can have it deployed into their own AWS account instead.

How do workers sign in?

With their work email and a password they set from an emailed invitation. Your administrator adds workers in the console, and each gets an invitation. Enterprise plans can use Google Workspace sign-in.

What happens after I pay?

You answer a short setup form: your administrator's name and email, and optionally your workers and the first portals to approve. Your gateway and apps are built automatically, and your administrator gets the download link and sign-in by email, usually within 30 minutes.

What counts as a worker?

Anyone with an active Portal Hound account who can connect. Administrators who only use the console don't count. Workers whose access you've revoked don't count.

Is there a contract?

Monthly plans can be cancelled at any time. Annual plans are paid up front. The setup fee is one-time and non-refundable once the deployment is complete.

What does a perpetual licence include, and what happens if I stop paying for updates?

The licence covers one company's deployment: the gateway and control plane in your AWS account, the worker apps and the admin console, with setup and the first year of updates and support included. After that, updates and support are 18% of the licence price per year. If you stop, everything keeps running on the version you have; you just don't receive new versions or support.

Does this let my team use portals we aren't allowed to use offshore?

No. Portal Hound controls and records how your team reaches portals; it doesn't change who is permitted to use them. See the requirements before you start.
